     As you can see, we've had quite a lot of calves since I last posted. We've also been very busy, having taken a cow to the vet to have a cesarean section and pulled two other calves.
     The cow who had the c-section, Erica, lost her calf and still isn't feeling quite herself yet.  A few days later we pulled Jeanie's calf, which was also dead, so we adopted the twin Ellie on to her. That way both of the twins will have their own 'mother'.

     Just last night, we had yet another calf-pulling adventure (do you detect a pattern here?) Joaan's calf was backwards, so we ran her up the lane and pulled it. Both she and her calf are doing well and adorable. C:

     You may have noticed our names have become no more regular, so I thought I'd explain two of them. We named 10 'After You' so we can tell people, "Hey! I have a calf named After You!" 57 was named to go with her mother, Lewis. (So it's Lewis and Carroll, as in Lewis Carroll the author)

More News

Watchin' the cows =)

     Hello again! I have returned with more news and a few more pictures :D We're up to seventeen calves now, and two of them are red. As you can see, we've probably had a little too much fun coming up with strange names. (Eh. Nah. There's no such thing.) Anyways, apart from all the lovely little calves being born, we've been rather busy, so we have a deplorable deficit in pictures (Which is to say, we have no new pictures. D:) I shall do my best to get some today or tomorrow though.
